Irene, Angus, Cookie and George

Irene was inspired by a Christmas card  I received of a little 1910 Steiff bear. She is just a little over 31/2" tall and made from a sparse, old gold mohair that I have plucked until she is almost bald. She is fully cotter pin jointed and hand stitched and has black glass eyes and a brown nose and mouth. I have shaded and aged her and she is filled with kapok, with steel shot in her body. She wears a rusty old bell around her neck on a piece of vintage lace.

If you think I have been a bit slow adding bears to the website recently it is because I have been doing custom orders and building up my stock for Hugglets Here are 2 little dogs that I have just finished for customers.

I will be adding some bears for sale shortly and also putting previews of some of the fair bears

Angus is made from vintage black wavy viscose that I have aged and treated to give him a well worn look. He has brown glass eyes and a mushroom coloured lopsided nose and mouth. He is  approximately 41/2" tall and has steel shot in his body for a nice heavy feel and the rest of him is stuffed with kapok.

He is hand stitched and fully cotterpin jointed.
