Barney

   Barney is made from a lovely pale golden upholstery velvet with a sheen to it. Although I don't know the history of this material I suspect by the backing that it is vintage. I have aged little Barney extensively but if you wanted a bear in the same material without the plucking let me know.

Barney is just under 4" tall with little legs and quite a long body that I have part filled with steel shot & kapok that has left him proper saggy!! He has black glass eyes and an embroidered waxed nose,  ultra suede paws  and wears a rusty old bell around his neck.

Like all my bears he is a collectors item containing small parts and is therefore not suitable for children
