Clown Bear and Rufus the dog   Also Pink & Blue Clown Bear

This little bear is one of a variety of different coloured Clown Bears that I have made. This bear is made from black & gold mohair. He has half his body black & half gold, one leg and one arm in each colour and has 3 pearl style buttons on his tummy. He has black glass eyes and a sparse embroidered, waxed nose and is fully jointed. He is filled with steel shot and kapok and is  approximately 4 1/2" tall (11 1/2cms)

I have made a ruff for around his neck from a piece of material with musical symbols on it which I have aged and his hat is a piece of hessian type cloth with a tattered piece of the music material stuck to the front. This has also been aged.

Rufus the Dog

Rufus is just under 4" tall and a brand new design by me. I have based him on a  much loved vintage style dog. He is made from old gold coloured mohair with black mohair ears and black ultra suede paws. He has a long snout with a roughly embroidered, waxed nose and brown glass eyes. Short little legs and long arms. He is filled with kapok and has steel shot in his body for extra weight. I have added shading and stitching to further age him

Pink & Blue Clown Bear

This bear has all the same characteristics as the black & gold bear above except that he is made from a pale pink and pale blue mohair and has an aged blue checked ruffle around his neck
