Molly & Farquhar

Firstly Molly

Molly is just under 4" tall and made from sparse mohair which I have hand dyed and is a page aged yellow/light gold. I have given her lots of shading and waxing to create a much loved old bear. She has a roughly sewn embroidered , waxed nose, black glass eyes and black stitching. She is fully cotterpin jointed and is filled with kapok and  her tummy is loosely filled with steel shot for a heavy, saggy feel/look.

& Now Farquhar

I can't remember where I got the mohair from for Farquhar but  I have no more so there will never be a similar one! I like him because he is a cross between a cuddly teddy and  a Fat Head. His mohair is quite dense and spikey  in a light brown which I have shaded quite a lot. He has a large round head, black glass eyes and short arms and legs. He is quite a heavy chap filled with kapok and steel shot. Farquhar is fully cotterpin jointed and
