Little Scruffs Miniature Bears

Miniature handmade artist mohair Teddy Bears by Jean Grogan

  Fred, Dot and Paddy

Firstly we have Fred

Fred is a bit of a lad- I have taken photos of him with his hair brushed two ways to show you how this material  works. It is 90% llama fur and I have never seen any other bears made from it before (except the Scruffs!) Fred is 4 1/2" tall (11cm)  and looks a real cheeky bear. He is fully cotterpin jointed and filled with kapok and has steel shot in his tummy. He has large black glass eyes and a sparsely embroidered black nose. I have added shading to his face & paws.

 Fred is  £65 SOLD

Dot is an artist bear from Little Scruffs

 Dot

The boys have been asking for a 'Fat Head' girl so here is Dot!!  She is just about 4" tall and made from a dusky pink sparse mohair that I have shaded for extra character. She is fully cotterpin jointed and filled with kapok with steel shot in her tum for a nice heavy feel. She has large black glass eyes and a sparse embroidered nose. She wears a heart around her neck.

Dot is  £65 SOLD

Good morning to you one and all! I would like you to meet Paddy! He is a 'Fat Head' made from an old gold upholstery fabric more than a hundred years old. I only have a small piece left and am savouring each bear I make from it as it is one of my all time favourites. He is approximately  4 1/2" tall (11cm)  and has large black glass eyes and a sparsely embroidered black nose with a tiny mouth. He has a saggy tummy filled with steel shot for a nice heavy feel and the rest of him is filled with kapok. He has had lots of plucking, shading and ageing  done to give him a well loved look. I took the photo of Paddy early in the morning with no sunshine so if you would like another clearer  photo please let me know.

 Paddy is  £65
