Rupert Mayfield

Rupert is just under 5" (12cm) tall and made from one of my favourite materials which is a vintage gold upholstery velvet over 100 years old. He has a stripped cotton material for his paws which, like the rest of him I have further aged so he looks like a real old bear. Stuffed with kapok which was used in early bears, and steel shot in his loosely filled tummy for a saggy, heavy feel. He has black glass eyes and an embroidered, waxed nose that I have pulled apart.
