Soldier Bear Charles P Blount

Private Charles P Blount was a Soldier  in the Queen's own Worcestershire Hussars. He was killed in action on 23rd April 1916 aged 21. This bear is named after him.

Charles is a lovely blue mohair which I have plucked, shaded,  waxed and added faux stitched to him. He is fully cotter pin jointed and is stuffed with Kapok. He has steel shot in his body for added weight. He has blue glass eyes and a stitched, waxed nose and wears a WW1 ribbon medal on a rusty old safety pin with a bronze effect charm with the word  "Hope" engraved on it.
