Soldier Bear Thomas James Kirkaldy

This little Soldier Bear is Thomas named after Thomas James Kirkaldy, a Soldier in the Infanntry during WW1 who sadly died on 2nd June 1918 aged 27 years old.

Thomas is approximately 3& 1/2 inches tall and fully jointed. He is made from gold mohair and I have plucked, shaded and waxed him plus added faux stitches to make him look like a well loved little bear.

He has brown glass eyes, a stitched, waxed nose and is stuffed with Kapok. He has tiny steel discs in his body for a nice weight. He wears a hope charm attached to war ribbon on a rusty old safety pin.
