Soldier bear George Albert Allen NEW

George Albert Allen  died in WW1 Battle of Somme in 1915 age just 17. This Soldier bear was made in honour of him.

George is made from a gold coloured mohair and is just under 3 & 1/2 inches. He has hand painted brown glass eyes and an embroidered, waxed nose. He is fully cotter pin jointed and stuffed with Kapok, with tiny pieces of steel in his belly for added weight.

George wears a red, white and blue ribbon with a bronze "Hope" charm attached and has faux stitching on him.
