Soldier Bear Wilfred Harry Beaman NEW

Wilfred Harry Beaman was a Soldier during WW1 who sadly died aged 21 on 30th November 1916. This bear is named after him.

Soldier Bear Wilfred is made from mohair which I have plucked, added faux stitches, heavily shaded and waxed. He has small light brown glass eyes and a stitched waxed nose. He is fully cotter pin jointed and stuffed with Kapok, a natural product from the Kapok tree. I have added tiny steel discs to his tummy for added weight.

Wilfred comes wearing a red, white and blue distressed ribbon and a bronze coloured "Hope" charm attached by a rusty old safety pin.
